Beginning November 21, 2008, the penalty for failing to stop for a pedestrian in a crosswalk increased from a $50 fine to $250 and 3 points on your license. If a pedestrian is struck in a crosswalk by a driver who fails to stop, the penalty is $500 and 6 points. More News
